Andong...the countryside

Andong is a beautiful place, I went to visit for the weekend with some Korean friends. Andong is well known for the "Mask Festival"...there are rivers, farms and mountains...also, it is the only place where 'Confusionism' is still being practiced...Confusionism is not so much a religion, but rather a philosophy, where the people are very respectful of their elders, they are very conservative, they are kind and have very good manners along with being very protective of their bodies, both physically and spiritually inside and out and they still practice the traditional Korean customs....there were schools long ago where this philosophy was taught by a very famous teacher who introduced this philosophy to the people...Well, in this trip we picked berries in the mountains, visited traditional Korean homes and experienced sleeping in a village in a Korean tradiotional home. We had a great time:).......the following few pictures are from this trip!
